The Ever-Changing Aura
By Yasmine E.
Today my aura is the color of your eyes
For I see it through them
Hue are you to shade me with your filter
Dragging me screaming across a range
A spectrum of soul with no beginning or end
Blended and bloodied by the voices of men
Read me in red when I set you aglow
Dress me in orange if I float your bateau
Yellow as the teeth that smile back at you
Green as the weed in our joint for two
Fade into blue when I open my mouth
Indigo crazy from lady to louse
Play me in purple for pleasure and pain
Paint me in pink as I tickle your brain
I am not made of paper
I am not your naked doll
I am the colors you cannot see
The highest frequency of all:
Glitter
