POP Artist Highlight

POPOUT zine is comprised of passionate people of faith. Our mission is to spread the light through the art we create & share. We are building something that’s bigger than ourselves. As we build this empire, we realize how each one of our purposes are woven into one another.
In order to build a strong empire, the team has to work together to bring the vision to life. That is why this POP Artist Highlight is very special. This person is one of the first people to join Generation POP, and believed in POPOUT zine during the early stages.
Meet our POP Artist of December - Laurén J. Green - better known as Space POP.
Laurén, a Texas native with a military upbringing, studied International Studies double minoring in French and Chinese at Baylor University. Her goal was to become an ambassador, but pivoted once she realized that was not her calling. Laurén has always seen beyond the horizon. In 2014 she moved to Chongqing China with faith & the willingness to learn more about the world.
Beyond learning Mandarin Chinese (such a bad ass), Laurén learned more about herself - which is indeed true mastery. Laurén’s journey in China ended & brought her back to America where she would soon seek higher education and move to Paris, France.
In 2016, I was able to meet this beautiful soul as we studied Global Communications together in the City of Light. Laurén instantly became my muse. I asked her to be the cover model for the first edition of POPOUT zine. One astounding attribute Laurén possessed then and still has today, is her eagerness to spread the light and see people succeed. Sometimes it’s not about what we create but how we uplift those around us; that is a true art form that Laurén enthralls.
I always encourage Laurén to use her voice because it is powerful. In 2020, I have witnessed Laurén break free from mental chains and barriers. She has stepped confidently into owning her voice and using it! Laurén has now launched her brain child and first business Laurén Juniper.
She has created handmade in-house candles, that produce a powerful bouquet of fragrances and hues, to light up a room and inspire the soul. These Intention Candles are specially crafted to use color therapy techniques, along with aromatherapy to encourage mindfulness and self-care. On her newly launched site, she shares with us her self care rituals and beliefs on mindfulness & intention, reminding us that our personal self care is sacred.
It’s always great when you can build empires with your friends. The most successful businesses have a motivated team, and I am blessed that Laurén is apart it. POPOUT is truly about spreading the light and now with the addition of Laurén Juniper - we know that the flames will always remain bright!
Lauren, we are so proud of you. Thank you for using your voice with intention. We are honored to have you apart of our team & to see you expand. You are forever embedded into the fabric of POPOUT zine & now we are a part of Laurén Juniper.
