Alxya’s Official Video Release for ‘FPB’
Hip-hop & RnB singer and performer Alxya has released her first project under artist Talent Management & Production Agency - La Fraise Bleue. Blending masculine and feminine style visually and musically, Alxya's music is inspired by Rihanna, Prince, Don Toliver, and Shay. Her lyrics range from catchy hooks to more profound emotionally driven metaphorical phrases.
In her most recent song release ‘FPB’ Alxya describes that: “FPB” stands for the realization ‘that pretty boys ain’t shit,’ with the hook boasting a clear ‘Fuck You’ message. The first half of the song leaves little room for emotional misinterpretation and it ends with a soft, sexy outro. The contrast highlights that despite your irritation and disappointment with his unreliability, it’s hard to let go of the pretty ones.”
Music allows Alxya to creatively express her feelings in a way that listeners can relate to and vibe with. Visuals and execution are important to her creative process. She is involved in every step of the creation process from writing the music, performing, directing the music video and editing decisions.
“I have grown up in so many settings that have influenced who I am, so my art can touch a broad range of demographics and age groups. My music is also influenced by a variety of artist from different genres so what I write is a blend of styles from all around the music charts.”
Alxya’s mantra is that “Everything's a concept. Everything is prone to creativity. Everything is personal so why just leave it?”
