Our artist of the month is a top tier designer, who has a classic style and a very agile point of view.
Meet Damian Lane, better known as Brother POP of GoodOmenStudio.
EYE FOR DESIGN
Damian, a San Antonio, Texas native has a natural eye for design. With no background in the design field, he still has the capability to create graphics as if he has been doing so his entire life. That is how you know someone has a gift - you don’t have to try, when you do it - it works. Although designing comes naturally to Damian, he practices to ensure that he elevates his work. That’s dedication & craftsmanship.
What he creates isn’t a typical ‘Canva ready’ graphic (even though we appreciate Canva), each design Damian creates is well executed and has a strong brand story.
He listens attentively to the clients ideas and transforms them into a sound work of art. Even in his practice mock-up designs you can visually see the brands story along with his signature classic style.
VISUAL ARTIST
Damian also known as Brother POP is a member of Generation POP. He is the content curator for social media & lead graphic designer for the printed Collector’s item.
Not only does he work with POPOUT zine, he has built his own design studio from the ground up called GoodOmenStudio. GoodOmenStudio designs with their client in mind, ensuring that the client will have a strong visual brand identity.
NEW PERSPECTIVE
Damian was chosen to be our artist of the month because he exemplifies the definition of ‘POP - Pursuit of Purpose.’ He has taken the initiative to work on his dreams by outsourcing new clients, shifting his perspective & putting himself in new spaces that can help add to his tool belt. A very unpretentious family man, with a drive to follow his dreams - we have to salute that.
