popout was launched in 2018 by aalyiah heath. The first issue was printed initially as a part of her thesis project, and sold 200 copies.

in 2020 issue two, dubbed the noble reveal, was released, starring cover girl and fine artist, ioi choi.

issue three is all about persepctive — every artist has their own. in this issue we take time to reflect on where we’ve been, how we got here, and looking forward to our possible futures.
