“Hold Up” is a very spiritual song that speaks of a struggle between doing what is right and what is wrong. A prayer for peace and understanding. A call to be awakened. "It’s you not me" is a call to look within yourself before focusing on the flaws of others. This is an inner struggle that speaks to many.
Chimelle is an amazing dancer. She decided to do an improv dance to my song "Hold Up." I love her interpretation. It is strong and bold.
We initially met in Paris after I searched and searched for the perfect dancer for my music video for the song "Take Me." Our friendship and business relationship has since grown.
