Originally from Lomé, Togo, Marla grew up in Aubervilliers, a town near Paris. These multicultural influences and her quest for self-identity have significantly shaped her distinctive photography style. A journey marked by challenges and victories, as well as great resilience, Marla tells poetically the battles she choses to fight.
